PROF. DR. XUAN PHUC NGUYEN

Prof. Dr. Xuan Phuc Nguyen was born in 1965 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He studied communications engineering/electronics at the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences and, after successfully completing his studies, worked for a number of years as a research assistant in the faculty for information technology. In 2003 he received his doctorate from the University of Heidelberg. sc. hum. and has since been in charge of research and development projects at the "Mannheim Biomedical Engineering Laboratories" (MABEL) institute, a cooperation between the Mannheim Medical Faculty of the University of Heidelberg and the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences.

Since 2005 he has been a lecturer in the bachelor's degree in medical technology and since 2011 also in the master's degree in information technology at the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences. He has achieved special merits in the cooperation between the faculty for information technology of the university and the medical faculty Mannheim of the University of Heidelberg.
