Mode of action & indications
The Current Puncture is a clinically certified and patented, very light 2-channel electrostimulation device for muscle stimulation (EMS) with additional optimization for electrotherapy on the acupuncture points without needles according to TCM. MWith the current puncture, nerves are electrically stimulated transcutaneously (= through the skin). The aim is to stimulate motor (= muscle-related) nerves that can be reached by skin electrodes and to activate and build up skeletal muscles and muscle appendages such as tendons, ligaments and joints.
There are indications for treatment with the Current Puncture in situations in which muscle inactivity such as illness, pain or immobilization threatens or has caused a breakdown of muscles and muscle appendages. In addition, treatment with the Current Puncture can relieve muscle pain and relax muscles. Muscle stimulation promotes blood circulation and metabolism in the stimulated muscles.

The optimization of the stimulation parameters to reach the acupuncture points according to TCM (DeQi) was named "Prof. Nguyen stimulation".
In addition, all relevant stimulation parameters have been made selectable inline, i.e. during the stimulation, so that the acupuncture point can be reached more easily, if necessary.
